5 Cavendish Square is an 18th Century, Grade ll listed building, located on the East side of Cavendish Square within the Harley Street Conservation area. The building formally used as a private members club is currently undergoing an extensive refurbishment on behalf of our client The Bolloré Group to establish a UK Headquaters in London.
Gibberd was appointed by the The Bolloré Group to provide architectural, interior design and conservation services working closely with the client to establish a thorough brief to reflect the needs of the business and their development internationally.
The project involves an extensive refurbishment of all floors within the building to provide office accommodation, showroom’s, a new reception area, bedroom accommodation for visiting executives, bespoke bathrooms, kitchen’s, a roof terrace and a self contained Mew’s building.
At key stages during the project Gibberd have liaised closely with Westminster City Council’s conservation department to ensure material selection is suitable for a grade ll listed building whilst blending with the contemporary ethos of the interior design scheme and clients requirements
