Gibberd were appointed as executive architects to undertake a change of use project from an existing office block to residential usage at the former Impact House in Croydon. The existing 16 storey structure compromised of vacant office space with an NHS Primary Care Trust on the ground floor.
The project provides 235 new residential apartments, a new entrance lobby, gym and roof top garden. The works to the existing office space was carried out whilst the PCT remained fully operational.
The Works also included the replacement of the facade, windows, roofing and a complete relocations of all plant to a newly defined roof area including new risers.
